How it works
Which banks work with Tally export?
Every bank statement format we support generates a valid Tally workbook. That includes:
- Indian banks: HDFC, ICICI, Axis, Kotak, Indian Bank, IDFC First, Bank of Baroda, Bank of India, Saraswat, Google Pay and more.
- International: Wise, American Express, Capital One and Canadian banks for multi-country accountants.
Frequently asked questions
Is the Tally template free?
Yes. The Tally workbook is included at no charge for logged-in users. Sign in with Google to enable it.
Why do I need to log in for Tally?
Tally exports are gated to logged-in users so we can keep the anonymous tier strictly for one-off conversions. There is no payment — just a free Google sign-in.
Can I customise voucher numbers and ledger names?
Yes. The Tally panel exposes four fields: bank ledger name, contra/cash ledger name, Receipt voucher starting number, and Payment voucher starting number. Each voucher sheet numbers independently from its own start value, with optional prefix support (e.g. Rcpt241 becomes Rcpt241, Rcpt242, ...).
Does this work for merged statements?
Yes. Switch to Merge Statements mode and upload up to 20 PDFs at once. You get one Tally workbook covering every uploaded file, with all transactions sorted by date in the third sheet.
Is my financial data safe?
Yes. Your PDF is processed in memory and permanently deleted the moment the conversion is complete. We never store, read, or share your financial data.
