Frequently Asked Questions

Is it really free?

Yes. Anonymous users get 3 free conversions per day. Sign in with your Google account for full access at no charge.

Is my data safe?

Your uploaded files are processed in memory and never stored permanently on our servers. We use HTTPS encryption for all data transmission. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

How accurate is the conversion?

Our parsers are built specifically for each bank's PDF format and tested against real statements. We verify that extracted transaction totals match the statement's reported totals. However, we always recommend reviewing the output against your original statement.

Can I convert multiple statements at once?

Yes. Use the "Merge Statements" mode to upload up to 20 PDF files at once. They'll be combined into a single Excel file with all transactions sorted by date, plus separate sheets for each statement.

What file formats do you accept?

We accept PDF bank statements and TXT files. The output is always an Excel (.xlsx) file with properly formatted columns and numeric values.

Why does my bank statement fail to convert?

If your bank isn't in our supported list, the auto-detection may not recognize the format. Sign in and submit a bank request with a sample statement, and we'll work on adding support for it.

Does it work on mobile?

Yes. Bank Statement Converter works on any device with a web browser -- desktop, tablet, or phone.
